This has been a very busy week, late night tweeking on websites and fundraisers. It has been well worth it. The plans to build Getting There's Village Inc., is well on its way. today is the opening of www.gettingthere1.web.com, the place for our perks given out to people or organizations who donate in our honor to serve as a small city farm.
We are also holding a fundraiser at indiegogo.com, type in search, I am My Own Boss Since I Lost My Job. The purpose is to raise 60,000 in 60 days, the first 10,000 goes out to those who have lost their jobs, and are in our network. the $50,000 is for Getting There Village, Inc.
a modern city farm, that will have a community room, in the center of 6 finely build tiny houses. The houses will contain compost toilets, bathroom with portable sink and tub, kitchen, living, dining, and bunk, in a 20'x20', or a 20'diameter. Interns and Vacationers will find them comfy.
